(or willing to travel)

SLAYER Tribute musicians needed for DEAD SKIN MASK!
2 guitarists a bassist and or a vocalist that know Slayers music and sound in and out.

Original Metal Band

I am looking for 2 guitarists, bassist and vocalist. capable of playing material from XTREME speed to brutal pit material. I don't care how old, young, male, female, or what ethnicity you are. AS LONG AS YOU CAN PLAY, you are in. This is NOT a "pretty boy" band. My influences range from slayer, cannibal corpse to fear factory.

I do not drink, use drugs, or smoke (anything). What YOU do is your business and is not a concern of mine. PROVIDED it does NOT interfere with practice or shows. I have a rehearsal room. I am EXTREMELY serious yet like to enjoy myself in and around the band. A band SHOULD be FUN, or it is just a job. I have been in bands that played with Judas Priest, George Lynch, Slayer, (((FF))), Overkill, Exodus, etc, blah blah blah... My point is I'm not looking for a 'jam band'. I take this VERY seriously. I have been infront of 2500+ ppl several times. An average show attendance was 250-400. I have recording equipment. (5 ADATS and a 24trk board) and a few CD recorders.

What you DO need

!!!SERIOUS MINDED ABOUT BEING IN A BAND!!!
Pro gear. At least a 1/2 stack. Good quality guitar that stays in tune (fixed bridge or Floyd Rose or Kahler trems) Good bass (pref 5 or more strings) and decent 4x10 or a 15 cab. Vocalist, preferably your own PA. I have one, but I run the drums through it.

Most important.... the ability to play, AND a good pleasant attitude. I'm currently paying for the band room myself. Any future members would be expected to pay a fair amount. THEORY/QUESTION/HAIKU: If one can't invest $30-50 per month for a practice room, how serious is someone about their/a band? no love song faggy shit. original brutal metal band (speed, thrash, death) I would prefer low tuned 7 string guitarists or a 6 tuned, at least, to D. I have 2 ESP 7's. If you are willing to play them, they are here.

I'm in my 30's. If that makes a shit of difference to you... then you are not serious enough about being in a band to have read this far anyway. There are plenty of high school emo bands for you to waste your life with.

a version of my set

Sounds

These mp3's are NOT what this project is about. They are from previous bands here, simply, to show a small sample of my drumming.
